Camfil’s ClosePleat filters offer high-efficiency air filtration in a lower pressure drop design. The filters are ideal for HVAC applications, medical facilities, food processing, pharmaceutical and semiconductor manufacturing, or for filtration in other locations where clean air and energy savings are critical to system operation.
These filters use micro-fibre all-glass media, providing efficiency to published performance values. ClosePleat filters are also resistant to moisture in high humidity environments.
ClosePleat is available in efficiencies H13-H14 in accordance with EN1822. The filter is assembled using a unique polyurethane potting process that completely encapsulates the filter pack within the enclosing frame.
ClosePleat has uniformly spaced pleats separated by thermoplastic resin separators to ensure pleat stabilization and uniform air flow throughout the filter pack. The filter can be delivered with a wooden or galvanized frame. A one-piece seamless urethane gasket ensures a leak-free filter-to-holding mechanism seal (also available with a neoprene gasket).
ClosePleat is efficiency-tested to assure adherence to published values. Each Camfil HEPA filter is individually tested. Each unit includes a label noting tested efficiency, pressure drop at rated air flow and a unique serial number for unit tracking and quality assurance.
