Brussels, Milan, 30 August 2016. The Eurovent association and Reed Exhibitions Italia, the organiser of the well-known Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE), have signed a wide-ranging cooperation agreement – underlining the support of Eurovent members for Europe’s major HVACR-related exhibition. With the agreement, Eurovent becomes ‘official partner association’ of the event, whose 41st edition is going to take place in Milan in March 2018.
MCE is the unique marketplace and global event where companies in the HVAC+R and energy efficiency sectors gather and showcase the latest technologies, solutions and systems for smart buildings in commercial, industrial and domestic residential sectors. Every second year, it attracts more than 2.000 exhibitors from around the globe throughout 320.000+ square meters. Taking place at the Fiera Milano fairgrounds, it constitutes the gate to Europe’s HVACR market and technologies, attracting more than 150.000 visitors.
‘We are honoured to welcome Eurovent as official partner association of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort’ states Mr Massimiliano Pierini, Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions Italia. ‘Having received the support of Europe’s leading HVACR manufacturers’ associations underlines the global importance of our exhibition as a flagship event for the European market’.
Eurovent President Alex Rasmussen adds: ‘Since its very first edition, Eurovent members have been participating in the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort. After a very successful 40th edition this year with our Italian member association ANIMA playing a leading role, we are happy to take our cooperation to the next level and to become official partner association, inviting our vast European and international network to join us in Milan in 2018.’
As a part of the agreement, MCE is going to become a key supporter of the 2016 Eurovent Summit, Europe's major gathering for key decision-makers in the area of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies, held in Krakow (Poland) from 27-30 September 2016. During the Summit, participating manufacturers have the possibility to liaise with the MCE team and substantiate their arrangements for the 2018 MCE show.
