France’s refrigeration expert will be joined by industry leaders from around Europe at a debate over the future of Refrigeration, Process Cooling and Food Cold Chain
During the seminar Refrigeration2030 (Wednesday, 17 May 2017, Paris), high-ranking speakers and guests from around Europe are going to elaborate on how technologies and legislation in Refrigeration, Process Cooling, Food Cold Chain could evolve. Next to Dr Denis Clodic (President & Director, EREIE), the seminar is going to see presentations and statements by key association representatives, as well as industry leaders such as Carrier, Daikin, ebm-papst, FRICO, EPTA, JACIR, and Tecumseh.
One of the discussions of the event organised by Uniclima and Eurovent is going to evolve around the efficiency of water cooled systems, its lower condensing temperatures, compressor lift and cooling tower efficiencies. In a further session, experts are going to focus on how to move down the CO2 equatorial line while increasing the refrigeration system efficiency. In a wider sense, greenhouse gas reduction policies are going to be a topic – with a strong focus on future ready applications.
Francesco Scuderi (Team Leader Process Cooling and Food Cold Chain, Eurovent) stated in this respect: ‘During Refrigeration2030, we aim to provide insights in the refrigeration value chain, commencing with a focus process cooling in the morning while ending with supermarket applications in the evening. The whole day is going to be moderated, initiating discussions among the various experts and the audience.’
The event has received a wide support of the refrigeration sector and is organised in cooperation with AFCE, AFF, AICVF and PERIFEM. Speakers include leading sector representatives from around Europe. For a detailed schedule and registration, visit www.refrigeration2030.eu. The registration fee is 60 EUR. Registration takes place on a first-come first-serve basis. Refrigeration2030 is supported by the exhibition Interclima+Elec (7-10 November 2017, Parc des Expositions, Paris).
