The organisers of the 2017 Climatización y Refrigeración (International HVAC & R Exhibition), held between 28 February and 3 March in the halls of IFEMA, report that the exhibition exceeded all expectations, assembling more companies, and offering more content and activities than any other edition before. This would reflect a growing sector and a market enjoying a gradual reactivation.
Ms María Valcarce, Director of the Climatización y Refrigeración exhibition, highlighted: ‘This commercial event for the air conditioning, heating, ventilation and industrial and commercial cooling sectors showcased new products and solutions from close to 700 companies, with 360 companies from 24 countries directly participants. 49.935 professionals from 82 countries attended the event. These figures ratify its convening power and confirm C&R as Spain's most important international benchmark trade fair.’
‘The national scope of this edition was especially relevant, having received professionals from all Spanish regions. In this respect, visitors from Madrid accounted for 34% of all attendees, with the rest of national visitors totalling 56%. After Madrid, the largest number of professionals came from the autonomous regions of Andalusia, Catalonia and Valencia respectively. International visitors accounted for 10% of all visitors, including professionals from 82 countries, amongst whom we can highlight those coming from Portugal, Italy, France, China, Germany and Morocco.’
As the exhibition’s official Supporting Association, the Eurovent Association was present with a dedicated booth and three of its Team Members, visiting its Affiliated Manufacturers and member associations AEFYT and AFEC.
